Literature Review

LIAA reviewed over 70 scholarly articles, books, and websites to inform this project. 

We have arranged those sources in several categories: Primary Documents Used to Frame Analysis, Climate Trends in the Great Lakes Region and Beyond, Wetlands and Climate Change, Adaptation to Climate Change, Wetland Biota, Wetland Analysis and Assessments, Ecosystem Services and Economic Value of Wetlands, Wetland Restoration, Ordinances and Legal Background, and Climate Action Plans and Michigan Plans.

We also reviewed Local Wetland Ordinances in Michigan and conducted Interviews with Wetland Experts.
