Resilient Macomb/St. Clair

The Resilient Macomb land use and community development project resulted in a Resilience Report that addresses a wide range of issues related to coastal processes in three communities along Lake St. Clair, including Harrison Township, Chesterfield Township and St. Clair Shores. The report examines natural resource preservation, efforts to build and expand the regional economy, and ways to manage the impacts of climate variability. The report also features a detailed coastal analysis of Lake St. Clair from the University of Michigan and a coastal vulnerability assessment. In addition to the report, a full-scale design charrette was conducted for the Nautical Mile in St. Clair Shores, and a video of interviews was produced.
